It is far one of the most unique and picturesque places I have ever been to. The views, the nature and the ocean is what I look forward to each day off. People are friendly and nice which makes my job so much easier.

Overall, my summer was great. I am starting to feel tired, but we all know what we signed up for. I made money and spent quite a bit too, but everything is worth it when the trips are booked.

My Work and Travel experience was a truly transformative experience that pushed me beyond my comfort zone and strengthened my independence. Hello, my name is Danail Nikolov. I study cybersecurity at Todor Kableshkov University. I joined the Work and Travel program with Orange, and it was the best decision I have made. I had an amazing summer, met so many people and travelled to wonderful places. My home was great and my employer was always there when I needed help. It was an unforgettable summer and I am already looking forward to the next one.

My name is Daniel Hristov and I am a second-year Financial Control student at UNWE. I work as a beach attendant at Ocean House in Westerly, Rhode Island. As summer comes to an end, I am taking home so many positive moments and unforgettable memories with new and old friends.

For me, spending two summers in America showed what it really means to be free. The friendships, life, parties, work and everything else will stay in my mind and heart forever. I dreamed of visiting the States as a child; after seven months here, that affection has grown into love. I love America — and if you give it a chance, you will love it too!

For me, it was even better than last time. I really liked the supervisors, the work was not difficult and the location was perfect — one hour from Washington and four hours from New York. Ocean City was nearby too. I went to a few parties, had a great time and I am very happy.

My name is Denislav and I study at the Technical University of Sofia. I spent my summer in Niagara Falls, working at a car park and charging visitors who wanted to park. The summer went by quickly but was very enjoyable. I also had the chance to visit the Canadian side of the city. It was a truly unforgettable experience.

It is amazing! There are squirrels, rabbits, all kinds of birds and quite a few Bulgarians everywhere. The sunsets are beautiful, and we made new friends.

Another American summer, yet so different from the previous ones. A new place, new people and new experiences. Even with a few difficult moments, it is always worth living through.

I was very happy with my summer job. I found a great employer and team and visited places I had only dreamed about. I would definitely join the program again!

A summer filled with adventures, new friendships and unforgettable memories! Work & Travel was an experience that was absolutely worth it, and I would do it again.

My summer in America taught me so much and proved that I can do far more than I thought. It is a wonderful opportunity that I would recommend to everyone. There were difficult moments as well as many great ones, but the experience was absolutely worth it. The skills I gained in such a short time are priceless. We were also lucky: the work was not hard, the managers were great and we did not even need a second job. I am incredibly grateful that I chose to spend this summer in America.

I am Iliyana, 22, and this summer I joined Work and Travel in the USA with my boyfriend. We lived and worked in Niagara Falls, saw the waterfall up close and rode Maid of the Mist. We worked together, met many new people and made memories we will keep for a long time. We also explored Buffalo, which was amazing, and New York is next to finish a wonderful summer!

The program was extremely well organised and the summer job was perfect. Work and Travel is a wonderful chance to find a job, meet new people, see the beauty of America and learn discipline.

Alaska, Hawaii, the Grand Canyon and my first skydive — one summer that made my dreams come true. When does your adventure begin?

It was fantastic. I would love to return to the same state and have another chance to explore and work in America.

I came to the US with no idea what the summer would actually be like, and Nantucket turned out to be a whole different world. Between long shifts, beach days, meeting people from all over the world, and exploring the island whenever I could, there was always something happening. I’m going home with a lot of new experiences, great memories, and definitely more stories than I came with.

The coolest summer! Being on a student program here feels like a school summer camp — only four months long. Going to work is fun when you are paid to spend time with your friends. It is also fun to see deer more often than cars here, haha.

This summer in America has been unforgettable on my J1 Work and Travel adventure. From hanging out with friends after long days, laughing together and capturing little moments, to just enjoying the simple things like being outside and feeling free, every day has brought something special. It’s been a mix of work, new friendships, and experiences I’ll carry with me long after the summer ends.

I had the chance to join a student summer program with Orange in Alaska and it was unforgettable. Sunriver was an amazing experience. The nature is great, the housing is even better and the community is really nice and welcoming!

The student program gave me the chance to enjoy an unforgettable show by wrestling legend John Cena. This is officially his final year as a wrestling star.

My Work and Travel summer in Cooper Landing, Alaska, was one of the most exciting and unforgettable experiences of my life. Hello! My name is Teodora Aleksandrova and I study Nursing at the National Sports Academy. This summer I stepped outside my comfort zone and travelled alone to Alaska through Work and Travel USA. I spent the summer in Ketchikan, working as a server at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. At first I did not know what to expect — a new place, a new job and completely unfamiliar people. Today I am leaving with so many friendships, adventures and memories. There are things photos simply cannot show: late-night conversations, spontaneous plans and laughter until your stomach hurts. Sometimes all you need is one summer, a faraway place and a little courage to discover a part of yourself you never knew. Alaska gave me much more than a summer — it gave me people, stories and memories I will carry forever.

My USA experience exceeded all of my expectations. The program is the perfect opportunity to work, meet new people from all over the world and travel. I have made connections that will stay with me forever.
