Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show & Ketchikan Harbor Haus

Hello! My name is Teodora Aleksandrova and I study Nursing at the National Sports Academy. This summer I stepped outside my comfort zone and travelled alone to Alaska through Work and Travel USA. I spent the summer in Ketchikan, working as a server at the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show. At first I did not know what to expect — a new place, a new job and completely unfamiliar people. Today I am leaving with so many friendships, adventures and memories. There are things photos simply cannot show: late-night conversations, spontaneous plans and laughter until your stomach hurts. Sometimes all you need is one summer, a faraway place and a little courage to discover a part of yourself you never knew. Alaska gave me much more than a summer — it gave me people, stories and memories I will carry forever.
