New York State is much more than the city. Work and Travel students often choose The Hamptons — a string of resort towns at the eastern end of Long Island.
The summer population triples, restaurants run at full capacity, and demand for seasonal staff is huge. Pay is among the highest in the program, with tips often exceeding the base wage. Manhattan is two hours away by train or bus, so many students visit almost every free weekend.

Orange Blagoevgrad
I have worked at Orange for almost four years. The programme gave me the chance to join two summer programmes in the USA, both in Alaska. I worked for Holland America Princess — first in Denali National Park and then in Trapper Creek. The Grand Canyon made the strongest impression on me and remains one of my brightest memories.
