Michigan
The Great Lakes State
About Michigan
Michigan is the Great Lakes State — a place of long shorelines, green forests, islands, and small resort towns. Our offers are in Harbor Springs, Leland, Elk Rapids, Bay Harbor, Mackinaw City, and Mount Pleasant, where summer brings tourists, water-sports fans, golfers, and resort guests.
Tourist towns offer seasonal jobs in restaurants, hotels, yacht clubs, shops, and resorts, with second-job opportunities when your schedule allows. On days off, kayak, go fishing, cycle along the shore, or visit Mackinac Island. Nature parks, beaches, and sunsets over the lakes turn every day off into a small adventure.

I have been part of the Orange team for two seasons and love helping students take one of their boldest journeys. I joined Work and Travel on my own and came home with countless new friendships. I have spent two incredible summers in Massachusetts and explored many of the USA’s best-known and more remote corners.
