TownePlace Suites by Marriott is in Kill Devil Hills, in the heart of the Outer Banks. The resort area attracts visitors with long Atlantic beaches, the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Jockey’s Ridge dunes and the nearby towns of Nags Head and Kitty Hawk. Hotels, holiday rentals, restaurants, shops and tour operators need seasonal staff during summer. A second job may be possible around your main schedule after sponsor approval. Days off can include swimming, surfing, kayaking, fishing, visiting coastal lighthouses and exploring Roanoke Island.

I worked for Holland America Princess — first in Denali National Park and then in Trapper Creek. The Grand Canyon made the strongest impression on me and remains one of my brightest memories.
