About the employer
The Butterfly House is a Put-in-Bay attraction where visitors walk among live butterflies and tropical plants. It is part of the popular Perry’s Cave area on South Bass Island, a summer destination with caves, historic sites, marinas, restaurants and Lake Erie views. The island’s seasonal economy creates jobs in hotels, shops, restaurants, ferries and attractions. A second position may be possible with sponsor approval and a compatible schedule. Free time options include cycling, fishing, kayaking, mini golf, Perry’s Monument and evening events in the village centre.
