Training with an Orange employer or with an independently secured employer?
Both Internship USA and Career Training USAprograms provide the candidates the option to choose whether to secure their training at a specifis company-independently (self-arranged option) or with our help (premium placed option).
Premium Placement is the option when we and our American partners provide you with a list of available positions that you can choose from. What needs to be taken into consideration is your education, and/or previous work experience outside US, and personal preferences. You have to create a Resume that will be presented to potential employers in your area of interest.
The companies that are interested in hiring trainees operate in hospitality and tourism, IT, marketing, finances and other areas.
You must know that when choosing a trainee program in a specific company, the program must be in your educational OR occupational area.
Self-arranged Placement is that program option that gives you the opportunity to personally contact a specific company and arrange your training program with them. Our American partners will confirm that the chomany that you have chosen is in accordance with Department of State requirements. They will also confirm that the training that you have secured is in accordance with your educational OR occupational background.
With that program option, it is your and your employer responsibility to compile the Training Plan (DS-7002). The Training plan needs to describe the states in yout training progam, in details.
Every stage in your program depens on the duration of your program:
|Duration of the program in months||Maximum lenght of every stage in months|
|From 1 to 3||2|
|From 4 to 6||3|
|From 7 to 9||3|
|From 10 to 12||4|
Department of State has established the below listed requrement to every company, that wants to provide a candidate with a training:
